Waiting too long for a VA appointment?
If the VA can’t see you within 20 days (28 for specialty care), or the drive is too far, you may be able to see a community provider, paid for by the VA.

Why rate your VA
Your visit is evidence.
Put it on the record.
01 · The problem
Most VA stories go nowhere.
A referral that takes months. Calls nobody returns. A claim that sits. You tell a buddy, maybe fill out a survey, and the next Veteran walks into the same thing.
02 · Your part
Rate the visit in three minutes.
Score wait times, staff, communication and care, then say what happened. Your review shows as “Veteran · Army · visited Mar 2026”, never your name or email.
03 · It adds up
One review is a story. Fifty are a record.
Reviews combine into a public score for every location, category by category. Once a location has enough reviews, it is ranked against the rest, so patterns can’t be waved away.
04 · Why it matters
The next Veteran goes in knowing.
Veterans choose where to go with their eyes open. Facilities can answer in public, but they can’t edit, hide or pay to bury a review. Only the Veteran’s voice counts.
What gets rated
Not just stars.
The things that actually matter.
Every review scores four categories (benefits offices swap quality of care for claims help). One overall star hides too much. A clinic can have great doctors and still make you wait four months.
Access & wait times
2.4How long it took to get an appointment, and how long you waited once you arrived.
Staff & courtesy
4.1Whether the people at the front desk and in the exam room treated you with respect.
Communication
3.2Whether calls got returned, results got explained, and you knew what came next.
Quality of care
3.8Whether the care actually solved the problem you came in with.
Claims & benefits help
2.9For benefits offices: whether your claim or appeal moved forward and someone explained why.
Accountability
Who's getting it right.
Who isn't.
Locations with at least 10 reviews, ranked by overall score. For each quarter, by state, see the Veteran Voice reports.
Rankings start once locations have 10 Veteran reviews. No one has rated a location yet. The first reviews decide where every location starts.
